Beginner’s Cookery Class at Y MArram
Fancy trying your hand at making one of Wales' most beloved treats?
Join us this Bank Holiday Monday for a fun, friendly, hands-on cookery class dedicated to the traditional Welsh Cake.
Perfect for beginners, this one-hour session will guide you step-by-step through mixing, rolling, and griddling these delicious little cakes. They are surprisingly simple to make when you know how and delicious when warm from the oven.
This class is ideal for anyone looking for a taste of Welsh heritage, a fun activity with friends, or a family experience (younger children are welcome but require supervision from a paying adult participant).
Make a Day of It: Y Marram will be serving coffee and pastries, fresh from the oven, from 9 am. And Flour & Flame will be cooking up their fantastic wood-fired pizzas from midday onwards.
Choose Your Time: We're running four separate one-hour classes on Monday, April 21st, 2025:
10:30 am - 11:30 am
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Each class costs just £10 per person, to be paid on arrival, with a maximum of 10 participants per session to ensure plenty of guidance.
